0.3mm Thickness Insulation Binding Tape Polyester Resin Impregnated Fiberglass Web Banding Tape
1. Introduction:
Polyester Resin Fiberglass Banding Tape also known as Armature Banding Tape, Resiglass Tape, Fibre Banding Tape) is made from continuous filaments, high tensile electrical grade glass yarn, impregnated with thermosetting polyester base resin. The yarns are laid parallel to form a thin flat ribbon & utilising maximum tensile strength of the glass to give an exceptional strength.
As supplied the banding tape is soft & pliable with a slight amount of tack. During the cure the resin flows & fill voids & air space to produce a homogenous laminate. Finally, the fully cured band is rigid with a hard-smooth resin rich surface & forming a void free homogenous mixture of glass & resin. After application and curing the tape holds the body in radial compression.

3. Polyester Resin Fiberglass Banding Tape Transportation
Banding tape requires special and rapid transportation arrangements. Mutual consultation is suggested for appropriateness depending on the transit period, available modes, handling, etc. Considering the sensitivity of banding tape, the buyer needs to quickly take delivery of the consignment and store it suitably
4. Storage stability
The banding tape should be stored in a low temperature environment. When using, the tape should be restored to the surrounding environment. Outside the use time, it is best to put it in a plastic cover and seal it to keep it clean and prevent moisture from condensing on the product at low temperatures.

6. Features:
High heat resistance up to 200ºC; can withstand heating to 260ºC for a short time, while the solder may melt on the steel wire
Extremely high arc resistance, thereby minimizing the possibility of "flashover" that often occurs in steel belts
Resistant to moisture and corrosion
The smooth curing surface on the strap can reduce dust adhesion, otherwise it may cause tracking failure
Non-conductive material, thus eliminating the insulation required for strapping
Prevents the lashing strap from being tied, eliminating the extreme damage caused by the lifting armature coil experienced when the lashing wire and the steel belt are broken
7. Application fields:
The Polyglass banding Tape finds application in the taping of transformer legs (transformer core banding)..
Rotor banding Large-transformer banding Transformer banding
